If you bought it used then it might be an old contact of the phone that was erased but they didn’t know. If it is new then they somehow got your sim card # and hacked your phone to where they could easily do what they want on your phone.

I have searched for a free lookup site all over the net too. Then I found in the news this article explaining why there is no free lookup directory for cell phone numbers… so i shelled out $36 for 1 year subscription…
i think you can also subscribe, get the info you need and then ask for a refund – a little trick that might work =)

Free reverse phone lookup services will provide you the information you need, but they aren’t good for anything other than landline numbers. You won’t be able to find out anything about cell phone or unlisted numbers, and that leaves out lots of possibilities.

When you use this site: , you’ll actually be able to perform reverse cell phone lookups because this site actually do have directories that include mobile numbers.
